Terms of service

1. Agreement

These terms govern use of Visible Yorkshire’s website and services. By using the site or paying for a product, you agree to them. If you buy on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.

2. Who we are

3. Services (product ladder only)

• Call Check — free review of a public website URL, returning a score and plain-English notes
• Job Map Report — human-reviewed written report and short video walkthrough, delivered within about 48 hours of confirmed payment and required details
• Top 3 Fix Week — agreed limited implementation of up to three high-impact items from a Job Map (e.g. homepage copy, Google Business text, footer/trust cleanup). Not a full website rebuild or redesign
• Monthly Pulse — optional recurring re-scan as described at purchase; cancel anytime

Call Checks are indicative, not a full audit. Scores are judgement aids, not official ratings from Google or any regulator. We do not sell full website rebuilds as a standard Visible Yorkshire service. Full design and rebuild projects may be referred, with your consent, to Graphic Details as a separate engagement and contract.

4. No ranking or results guarantees

We do not guarantee search rankings, traffic, leads, calls, revenue, or any particular commercial outcome. Search engines change constantly. Our work is advisory and/or limited implementation — results depend on your market, competition, and how you act on advice.

5. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate contact and website details
• Only submit URLs and materials you are allowed to have analysed
• For Top 3 Fix Week: provide timely access (e.g. CMS, Google Business Profile) if agreed — delays may extend timelines
• Keep backup copies of your own website content

6. Prices and payment

Prices are shown on the website at the time of purchase. Prices shown are the total you pay. If we become VAT-registered, VAT will be stated on invoices and this page will be updated.

Payment is taken via Stripe Payment Links (or other method we agree in writing). Work on paid reports starts after payment clears.

7. Delivery

Digital reports are delivered by email (or shared link) to the address you provide. Target delivery for the Job Map Report is around 48 hours after we have payment and any information we reasonably need. Top 3 Fix Week is typically within 7 days unless we agree otherwise.

8. Refunds

9. Intellectual property

You keep ownership of your brand and website content. We keep ownership of our templates, processes, and report frameworks. When you pay for a report, we grant you a non-exclusive licence to use that report for your internal business purposes. You may not resell our reports as a product.

10. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Abuse the free Call Check (e.g. automated bulk scraping)
• Submit unlawful content or attempt to break the site
• Misrepresent our findings as official Google or government advice

We may suspend access if use is abusive or unlawful.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under English law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or indirect loss. Our total liability for any paid service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service in the 3 months before the claim.

Call Checks are provided “as is” without warranty. Automated tools can miss issues or flag false positives.

12. Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy policy.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms for future purchases. Paid work already ordered is governed by the terms in force when you paid.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may have mandatory rights in their home courts.
